6 SOMALI-AMERICANS FACE TERROR CHARGES, 2 ARRESTED IN SAN DIEGO

April 20, 2015 (San Diego)—The FBI and the U.S. Attorney’s office in Minnesota have announced that six Somali-American men have been charged with conspiracy to support a terrorism organization, including two who were arrested in San Diego.

March 4, 2015 (San Diego) – The. U.S. Attorney’s office announced today that an Orange County man who tried to travel to Syria last year has been indicted on federal offenses including attempting to provide material support to the terrorist group ISIL, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.

EX-DIRECTOR CONVICTED OF STEALING FUNDS FROM INDIAN HUMAN RESOURCE CENTER

December 1, 2014 (San Diego)--The Indian Human Resource Center’s former executive director, David Hedley from San Diego, has been convicted of stealing funds from the federal agency. Hedley was sentenced to spend five months in prison and to pay back $141,260 that he stole.

LAKESIDE MAN CHARGED WITH DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY AFTER SETTING FIRE AT FBI BUILDING

 

March 11, 2014 (Lakeside)—A Lakeside man who scaled a security gate and prompted a SWAT team standoff for several hours on Sunday at the FBI headquarters in San Diego has been charged with destruction property, said San Diego Special Agent in Charge Daphne Hearn.
