EARTH DAY 2024 FAIR IN LA MESA

March 16, 2024 (La Mesa) -- The City of La Mesa is inviting residents, visitors, sponsors and vendors to join its family-friendly Earth Day Fair on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at MacArthur Park, 4900 Memorial Drive, La Mesa CA 91942. The festival is a celebration of the city’s commitment to environmental stewardship and a showcase of local businesses that offer eco-friendly products and services.

EARTH DAY APRIL 20 AT SAN DIEGO NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE





 
San Diego National Wildlife Refuge would like to invite you to Earth Day on Saturday, April 20. Enjoy hiking with a Ranger between the hours of 9:00-11:00 a.m. There will also be educational displays and kids’ activities.
 
The celebration will begin at the old steel bridge trailhead in Rancho San Diego (on Highway 94 just across from the McGrath Famliy YMCA). All ages are welcome. Bring your sturdy hiking shoes along with a hat, water and some snacks. Don’t forget your binoculars if you have them.

PARTY FOR OUR PLANET: 2ND ANNUAL EAST COUNTY EARTH DAY MAY 1 ON MT. HELIX

 

April 15, 2011 (Mt. Helix) -- Don't want to fight the crowds at Earth Day in Balboa Park? Now there's a local alternative.  Earth Day is coming to East San Diego County on Sunday, May 1 from 11 am – 3 pm.

 

This free family-fun event will be held in the Mt. Helix Amphitheater, 4901 Mt. Helix Drive in La Mesa. Co-sponsored by the Jarrett Meeker Foundation and Mt. Helix Park in partnership with the La Mesa- Spring Valley School District, East County Earth Day will feature vendors whose missions are environmentally friendly along with live music and a variety of speakers.

EAST COUNTY EARTH DAY APRIL 25 ON MT. HELIX

 

April 13, 2010 (San Diego’s East County) – The first annual East County Earth Day will be held on Sunday, April 25 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the ampitheater on the top of Mt. Helix. In addition to learning about sustainability and eco-friendly practices, visitors can enjoy live music and presentations ranging from falconry to aquatic animals.

FREE CAMPING AT COUNTY PARKS ON EARTH DAY

 

April 4, 2010 (San Diego) -- The County of San Diego Department of Parks and Recreation invites the public to kick off Earth Day on April 22 by camping free for one night at any of eight camping parks.
