PARADE OF LIGHTS FESTIVAL REFLECTS CENTENNIAL HERITAGE IN EL CAJON

December 18, 2012 (El Cajon ) – Vintage cars festooned in lights rolled down Main Street in El Cajon last week for the city’s first Parade of Lights.  The celebration continued at Prescott Promenade Park, where members of the San Diego Costume Guild garbed in Victorian attire—as well as some attractive Santa’s helpers, mingled with the crowd, evoking images of Christmas past and present.

2011 CAJON CLASSIC CRUISE SEASON EXTENDED: STARTS APRIL 6

 

March 9, 2011 (El Cajon)--The 2011 season of the Cajon Classic Cruise has added additional shows, theme nights and will start a month earlier than previously announced.

BACK TO THE ‘50s CAR SHOW STARTS THURSDAY IN LA MESA

 

 

June 2, 2010 (La Mesa) - -Participants are revving up for La Mesa’s “Back to the ‘50s” car show, which will be held every Thursday night in June, July and August. The event takes place from 5 to 8 p.m. on La Mesa Boulevard in the downtown village of La Mesa. Cruising in classic cars (pre-1973) is encouraged!
