EMMY-WINNING COMIC RUSS T. NAILZ APPEARANCE MAY 1 AT HARITNA IN LA MESA

April 30, 2013 (La Mesa)—Emmy award-wining comedian Russ T. Nailz, known for his apperances on TV and radio, will headline Brew Ha Ha’s comedy show Wednesday, May 1.  The fun starts with a mixer at 6, followed by showtime from 7:30-9 p.m. at Haritna, 7303 El Cajon Blvd. in La Mesa.

There is no cover charge and no drink minimum.  Mediterranean food is available at the restaurant, which was voted #1 in San Diego by A-List.

Some adult language; 13 and up admitted with adult.  Reservations highly recommended.

BREW HA HA COMEDY SAN DIEGO CELEBRATES ITS 200TH LIVE STAND UP COMEDY SHOW

November 3, 2012 (La Mesa)--To date Brew Ha Ha Comedy has produced over 200 live stand-up comedy shows.  They currently have two shows per week in La Mesa:  every Wednesday at Haritna Mediterranean Restaurant and recently every Friday at The Holiday Inn, Mesa Grill. 

International headliner Chris Clobber and his partner businesswoman and Comedian Diane Jean started producing Brew Ha Ha Comedy at Twiggs in University Heights in October 2009.  Brew Ha Ha Comedy gives talented comedians an opportunity to work their craft, regardless of their age, sex, race or sexual orientation.

COMEDIAN RICK GENE HAS STROKE ON STAGE AT SAN DIEGO DESSERTS

December 7, 2011 (San Diego)--Last night, comedian Rick Gene was on stage at the bistro at San Diego Desserts, making people laugh when suddenly his language was inaudible and he started looking very strange. 911 was called and he was taken to Alvarado Hospital. The emergency room doctor did tests and said he had a mild stroke.

July 22, 2011 (San Diego) – NBC headliner Danny Villalpando from Latino Laugh Festival will star in a comedy show presented by Brew Ha Ha on Sunday, July 24 at 7 p.m. in the Moxie Theatre, 6663 El Cajon Blvd. Comedians Chet Sewel, Diane Jean, and Chris Clobber will also perform.

 

“This is our newest venue and it seats 134 so we have lots of room for you to bring a large party!” says Diane Jean. “Let us know so we can save you a section.”

July 18, 2010 (La Mesa) – Brew-Ha-Ha’s first weekly comedy show upstairs at Gio Bistro and Wine Bar in La Mesa opened to a sold-out crowd last Sunday night. The act proved a rollicking success—artfully blending universally funny jokes with some East County-oriented punch lines.   Brew Ha Ha is the remedy for the blues--serving up light-hearted relief from tough times in an intimate yet friendly atmosphere with palate-pleasing food at Gio's.
