SDG&E PRESENTS $71k CHECK FOR ENERGY EFFICIENCY IN NEW POLICE STATION

 

August 24, 2011 (El Cajon) -- At Tuesday’s City Council meeting, August 23rd, San Diego Gas & Electric representatives presented a sizeable check to the El Cajon City Council. The check for $71, 340.00 was for the City’s hard work and leadership in energy efficient building for the new El Cajon Police Station.

San Diego, CA (Feb. 9, 2010)—A full-color plant list with photos, called the Nifty-50: Plants for Water Smart Landscapes, is now available to the public through the Water Conservation Garden and participating nurseries.

 

CALIFORNIA-FRIENDLY® LANDSCAPES WIN BIG PRIZES

June 1, 2009 (El Cajon) - Winners of the sixth annual California-Friendly® Landscape Contest gathered to collect their prizes at the Water Conservation Garden at Cuyamaca College on May 16th. Twenty homeowners from across the county received honors for outstanding examples of beautiful, drought-tolerant landscapes.

Photographs of the winning landscapes adorned a display in The Garden’s Plaza, and garden editor Mary James and garden author Nan Sterman co-MCed the presentations.
