JULIAN SCRAPS APPLE DAYS FESTIVAL, REPLACES WIITH HARVEST CELEBRATIONS

September 15, 2018 (Julian) – Is Julian losing its roots?  The historic gold rush town has dropped its Apple Days, a tradition dating back more than a century, replacing it with a season of other harvest celebrations.

AS AMERICAN AS APPLE PIE: JULIAN APPLE DAYS FESTIVAL SEPT. 23-24

August 16, 2017 (Julian) -- If you love apples, the Julian Apple Days Festival on September 23rd and 24th is the place to be.  Located at Menghini Winery (1150 Julian Orchards Drive) in historic Julian, the event features Julian’s famous apple pie, gold panning demonstrations, a falconry performance, live music and dancing, an antique tractor display, children’s games and activities, a beer and wine garden, food and merchandise vendors, contests and more.

JULIAN APPLE DAYS FESTIVAL OCT. 2-3

 

September 30, 2010 (Julian) -- As part of Julian’s Apple Days Centennial Celebration, a two-day Apple Days Festival will be held October 2nd and 3rd.  Festivities take place at Menghini Winery in the historic gold rush town of Julian, located on Highway 79 in East County's mountain region.
