November 3, 2019 (Berkeley) - The Aztec men’s soccer team shut out Cal 1-0 at Edwards Stadium Sunday afternoon. The Golden Bears out shot SDSU 27-9, but freshman goalkeeper Tetsuya Kadono saved eight shots while collecting his first collegiate shutout.

November 1, 2019 (Las Vegas) - Four San Diego State men’s tennis players completed the first day of action at the Larry Easley Memorial Classic on Friday at UNLV’s Fertitta Tennis Complex.

Sophomore Alex Scemanenco (San Diego, Calif.) was the Aztecs’ lone winner in singles play, outlasting Cal Poly’s Andrew Whitehouse, 7-5, 3-6, 7-5, in the Flight Three round of 16.

Running in temperatures below freezing, SDSU was paced by the sophomore duo of Carlene Masar (22:26.2) and Marissa D’Atri (22:34.1), who finished in 59th and 61st respectively.
