April 10, 2018 (San Diego) -- On April 14, San Diego’s science supporters will once again join the region’s world-leading scientists in the second annual March For Science! This unique and free event will take place at Waterfront Park, 1600 Pacific Hwy at 10 AM and is aimed at all audiences. It promises something for anyone who likes science, with educational speakers, a family-friendly science expo, and a march full of creative signs and costumes.

April 25, 2017 (San Diego) -- I've been protesting for over half a century.  Never before the March for Science in San Diego Saturday have I seen a demonstration where everyone brought their own homemade signs.  

 

The signs were so original that they did not even have a common slogan.  I attended a march of 15,000 individuals.

April 23, 2017 (San Diego) - Ralph Keeling and Lynn Talley of Scripps Institution of Oceanography aren’t household names. But they lent their scientific weight Saturday to an event that attracted a reported 15,000 people downtown.

March 27, 2017 (San Diego) – April 22nd in Earth Day. This year, it will also be marked by a March for Science, as scientists nationwide emerge out of the lab and take to the streets from Washington D.C. to here in San Diego.
