Aztecs win third straight game

February 23, 2018 (Cathedral City, Calif.) - The San Diego State softball team downed Liberty, 7-0, for its third consecutive victory Thursday night at Cathedral City near Palm Springs in the first game of the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic. The Aztecs are now 4-8, while the Lady Flames dropped to 9-2.

SDSU put up five runs in the second, a run in the fifth and one in the seventh in the 7-0 win.

Molly Sturdivant’s grand slam in the second proved to be the winner.

UP NEXT

The Aztecs play against Northwestern and No. rv/25 Notre Dame on Saturday.
