October 21, 2015 (El Cajon)--At a sometimes raucous Oct. 20 meeting attended by union and non-union construction workers, the Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District board voted 3-2 to table a vote on a proposed project labor agreement, saying it needs to meet with a citizens committee that oversees spending of bond funds.

LABOR COUNCIL SAYS NO ON “A” “B” AND “D”

May 4, 2012 (La Mesa) Evan McLaughlin from the San Diego-Imperial Counties Labor Council, speaking Wednesday night at the La Mesa-Foothills Democratic Club, urged El Cajon residents to vote “no” on Prop D, the charter city proposal. He also asked San Diego residents to vote against Prop A and Prop B.

CA SUPREME COURT UPHOLDS PROJECT LABOR AGREEMENTS FOR SAN DIEGO SCHOOLS

September 5, 2011 (San Diego) -- California’s Supreme Court has declined to review an appeals court decision that upheld the Project Stabilization Agreement (PSA) entered into by the San Diego Unified School District in 2009.
