HOMETOWN BUFFET CLOSURES PROMPT STATE INVESTIGATION

February 9, 2016 (San Diego’s East County) – California’s Labor Commissioner is investigating the abrupt closure of Hometown Buffet’s closure of restaurants statewide without any notice to its employees.  State law requires that employers with over 75 workers give at least 60 days notice before mass layoffs.

December 28, 2011 (East County) – The San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce will host its first Friday “Power Breakfast” on Friday January 6, 2012 at 7:15 a.m. at the Hometown Buffet, 390 W. Main Street, El Cajon.

CAJON VALLEY EDUCATION ASSOCIATION HOLDS BREAKFAST WITH SANTA DEC. 19


December 17, 2011 (El Cajon) -- Hometown Buffet in El Cajon at 390 Main Street will be the site of a breakfast with Santa on Monday, December 19, 2011 from 7:00 until 9:00 a.m. Kids may wear their P.J.s!
 
Breakfast includes:
Scrambled eggs, sausage, oatmeal, fruit, coffee, milk, orange juice, tea, hash browns, pancakes, & toast.
