ZONING ORDINANCE UPDATE AND COUNTY CODE AMENDMENTS NOW GO TO THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

 

October 13, 2014 (San Diego)--The County Board of Supervisors (Board) will evaluate proposed amendments to the Zoning Ordinance (POD-13-003) when they meet on Oct. 29. The proposed improvement includes changes to various definitions, use regulations, procedures and other miscellaneous revisions and clarifications. They also include proposed amendments related to setbacks, detached garages and barns and recycling.

PROPERTY TAX ASSESSMENT APPEALS FILING PERIOD OPENS SOON

 

June 30, 2014 (San Diego) -- Do you disagree with your property tax assessment for the 2014-2015 year? San Diego County residents and business owners who do may file an application to appeal their assessment from July 2 through Dec. 1, according to Clerk of the County Assessment Appeals Boards Thomas J. Pastuszka.

WALK-IN WEDDINGS ARE BACK, THE COUNTY ANNOUNCED THIS WEEK....

 

June 20, 2014 (San Diego)--Getting married is a big decision, but once you’ve found "the one," why wait? Effective immediately, bridal couples can walk in to the County Administration Center downtown, pick up a marriage license and get married. No appointments necessary, no muss, no fuss.

COUNTY CLERK ANNOUNCES CONTINUATION OF "WALK IN WEDNESDAYS" FOR MARRIAGES AND MARRIAGE LICENSES

 

July 22, 2013 (San Diego) – Summertime is the busiest marriage season. To help with increased demand the County Clerk’s Office has added “Walk in Wednesdays” to their services. For the past three Wednesdays, the County Clerk’s Office has been issuing marriage licenses and performing marriage services at the County Administration Center (CAC) without requiring a prior appointment. 468 marriage licenses and 270 ceremonies were performed at the CAC during that span. The “Walk in Wednesdays” will continue until September 25th.

SUPERVISOR RON ROBERTS BECOMES CHAIRMAN OF THE SAN DIEGO COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS


January 9, 2012 (San Diego) -- In a ceremonial changing of the gavel, Ron Roberts assumed Chairmanship of  the San Diego County Board of Supervisors today, Monday, January 9 at 9 a.m. at the County Administration Center  at 1600 Pacific Highway in San Diego.
