May 6, 2019 (Santee) - The San Diego Stars have announced tryout dates for their 2019 summer collegiate league season. All positions are open, with the Stars seeking current high school seniors, college-level players and former minor league and Independent ball professionals.

July 14, 2017 (San Marcos) - The San Diego Stars semipro baseball team equaled a franchise record Friday morning when Western Baseball Association officials named six members of the ballclub to play in Saturday's annual WBA All-Star Game, to be held at Palomar College.

STARS BASEBALL WINS IN ABSENCE OF BARONA SPIRITUAL LEADER'S PASSING

June 12, 2017 (Lakeside) - This summer's slogan or the San Diego Stars semipro baseball club is "Beyond Barona," as the Stars moved about half of their home games from Stars Field, located on the Barona Indian Reservation since 1995, to West Hills High School, where Stars owner/field manager Mickey Deutschman had been varsity head coach of the Wolf Pack for two seasons.

FOUR STARS NAMED TO WBA ALL-STAR GAME

July 10, 2015 (Santee) --- Four players and a pair of alternates from the San Diego Stars semipro baseball team have been named to represent the South Division to the annual Western Baseball Association All-Star Game.

The contest is slated for this Saturday (July 11) at San Manual Stadium on the San Manual Indian Reservation in Highland, Calif., located off Interstate 210 just east of San Bernardino.
