November 11, 2022 (Escondido) -- ‘Tis the season! Wild Holidays returns to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park in Escondido on select dates beginning Nov. 25, 2022 ,through New Year’s Day. The annual celebration invites guests to experience the wonders of the Safari Park, with a special holiday twist.

VIRTUAL CONCERT JUNE 10 STRIVES TO MAKE CALIFORNIA STATE PARKS ACCESSIBLE TO ALL

June 7, 2021 (Sacramento) -- A love of parks and music will strike a chord on June 10 as Parks California and StageIt team up to host a virtual benefit concert featuring performances from artists like David Wilcox, Khafre Jay, O-Town, Ozomatli and more exciting artists.The goal? To rally support for Parks for Everyone – a campaign of initiatives and programs that make California State Parks more accessible, available and meaningful for everyone. Specifically, proceeds will support opportunities for all people to make lasting connections with nature by advancing outdoor equity, career opportunities, youth field trips and more.

July 9, 2020 (San Diego County) - It’s the summer of coronavirus — and to keep it from spreading we’re staying home more, foregoing big vacations and looking for new ways to entertain and educate kids who have been home for months.

Well, here’s some good news. There are still some great, fun, free/or inexpensive things that kids, families and adults can do in July. And we’ve got a list!

As the calendar hits July, certain things are inevitable.

The summer tourist season is in full swing, bringing friends and relatives to town on the hunt for some fun in the sun. The kids are always looking for things to do, and you probably wouldn’t mind finding an activity or two to give you some “me” time in the middle of it all.

“PAINT THE TOWN RED” FOR SDSU HOMECOMING WEEK- OCT. 10-12

October 5, 2012 (San Diego) -- Mid-October is Homecoming week for San Diego State University. This year’s homecoming theme is “Paint the Town Red”--something the Honorary Chair and Grand Marshall for the festivities – The Show – knows all about!

SDSU will host several events starting Sunday, Oct. 7 and leading up to the homecoming football game against the Colorado State Rams on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012 at 3:45 p.m. at Qualcomm Stadium.
