ALUMNI FOOTBALL GAME PLANNED, PLAYERS NEEDED!

 

June 14, 2014 (La Mesa)--If you’ve ever wished that you could play football one more time, you’re wish has been granted. Alumni football is coming to La Mesa.  Gridiron Alumni is planning several full contact alumni football games.  Gridiron Alumni travels the nation pitting old football rivals against each other one more time.  Hundreds of players and thousands of fans swarmed stadiums to watch their hometown heroes strap it on one more time. Gridiron Alumni is targeting teams like Grossmont, Foothills Christian, Mount Miguel,  and many others. Players from the local area are invited to register and play.  The first 40 players on each team get to play.  The team that gets 30 people registered first gets home field advantage.

GROSSMONT UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT 2012 GRADUATION INFORMATION

 

June 5, 2012 (San Diego's East County) --  Throughout the month of June, approximately 5,216 senior students from 9 comprehensive high schools, 2 charter high schools and 3 alternative high schools in the Grossmont Union High School District will be donning caps and gowns for commencement exercises.

GROSSMONT UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT PRESENTS CELEBRATE WITH MUSIC DEC 6-15


December 3, 2011 (San Diego East County) -- Beginning December 6, the schools in the Grossmont Union High School District will be presenting their winter concerts. Each school has a different program, and has different features highlighted. Many schools will have band, choir, and orchestra performances. While individual schools will have dance, clubs, guitar, or performances unique to the school.

MT MIGUEL HIGH SCHOOL JROTC ADVANCES TO NATIONAL LEADERSHIP SYMPOSIUM IN WASHINGTON D.C.

 

 

May 19, 2010 (El Cajon)—After advancing through two phases of competition, the Mount Miguel High School JROTC leadership team  will participate in the final Championship round of the 2010 Army JROTC Leadership Symposium in Washington, D.C. at George Mason University, June 25-29, 2010. This event is sponsored by the Army JROTC and conducted by College Options Foundation.

Mt. Miguel Wins Overtime Period, Gains Tiebreaker Advantage for League and Playoffs

(RANCHO SAN DIEGO) October 30 - Tonight's football game at Steele Canyon High School between the host Cougars and the visiting Matadors from Mt. Miguel High School turned out to be a very exciting matchup between two Grossmont South league rivals. Both teams played to a 21-21 tie, but Mt. Miguel gained an advantage in terms of playoff seeding and league standing by winning an overtime period.
