THE FATHER'S DAY TALK NOBODY WANTS TO HAVE WITH DAD

 

“Dad, we’re taking away your car keys because you’re not safe to drive!”

June 13, 2014 (San Diego's East County) – It’s the great debate – who’s the better driver? Mom or Dad?  This Father’s Day, dads will love to hear in a recent national survey 63% of adult children say Dad’s a better driver than Mom. However, if adult children had to take away Dad’s car keys because he’s unsafe to drive, many fear Dad would get so angry he’d cut them out of the will.

VISITING ANGELS LAUNCHES HALO COMMUNITY FOUNDATION

 

 

December 24, 2013 (El Cajon) --The Halo Community Foundation has been established, just in time for a holiday gift to help people in need in our community, Visiting Angels has announced.   The mission of the Halo Community Foundation is to provide quality in-home care to low-income individuals suffering from illnesses, disabilities, and/or physical impairments.

The Visiting Angels’ East County Office can assist low income individuals receive critical in-home care for a better quality of life.  The foundation provides care to qualified individuals based upon needs and income level free of charge.

CANDLE LIGHTING COMMEMORATES ALZHEIMER'S VICTIMS: NOV. 15 IN EL CAJON

November 12, 2009 (El Cajon) - Visiting Angels and the Alzheimer's Foundation of America invite you to participate in a national candle lighting to commemorate Alzheimer's patients on Sunday, November 15 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. outside the Starbucks at 124 West Main (corner of Main and Magnolia) in El Cajon.
