GRANITE HILLS TEACHER ACCUSED OF SEXUAL MISCONDUCT

June 15, 2022 (El Cajon) - The Grossmont Union High School District (GUHSD) and El Cajon Police have launched investigations into allegations of sexual misconduct by a Granite Hills High School teacher.

DEPUTY FISCHER CHARGED WITH GROPING MULTIPLE WOMEN, PLEADS NOT GUILTY

February 22, 2018 (San Diego) – Sheriff’s Deputy Richard Fischer, who has been accused of groping and other sexual misconduct by more than a dozen women, has been charged on multiple counts.  Today, he pled not guilty to all charges, 10 News reports.

GUHSD BOARD VOTES 5-0 TO HALT CHARTER REVOCATION FOR HELIX HIGH

July 23, 2009 (El Cajon)-- The Grossmont Union High School District Board voted unanimously (5-0)  to halt the charter revocation process for Helix Charter High School.

HELIX TAKES ACTION TO HALT CHARTER REVOCATION VOTE; GUHSD BOARD TO HOLD SPECIAL MEETING THURS. JULY 23

 

July 22, 2009 (La Mesa)—Grossmont Union High School District’s board of trustees will hold a special meeting Wednesday July 23 at 5 p.m. to review an amendment to the Helix Charter. The amendment was devised by the Helix Charter Board and two GUHSD board members to address the board’s concerns over handling of sexual misconduct cases.
