BREW HA HA PRESENTS COMEDIAN MARK CHRISTOPHER LAWRENCE FROM NBC “CHUCK” SERIES MARCH 13 AT HARITNA

 

March 12, 2013 (La Mesa) – Mark Christopher Lawrence from NBC’s hit series “Chuck” will headline a Brew Ha Ha comedy show Wednesday, March 13 at Haritna Mediterranean Restaurant, 7303 El Cajon Blvd. in La Mesa. Haritna was voted best Mediterranean food in San Diego by San Diego “A” List.

A mixer begins at 6 p.m. followed by the show from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Mediterranean food is available, plus hookah on the patio.

EL CAJON VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL DEDICATES NEW RESTAURANT SERVICES PATHWAY FACILITY

 

School and District officials celebrated the district’s only student-run commercial restaurant

March 4, 2013 (El Cajon)--Grossmont Union High School District (GUHSD) and El Cajon Valley High School officials dedicated the new Restaurant Services Pathway Facility with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013.

Modernization of the 15,200 square-foot Building 400 includes the Wigwam, the only student-staffed commercial restaurant in the district, eight classrooms and new student restrooms. The building upgrades are part of the GUHSD Career Technical Education (CTE) program which provides students with hands-on technology training and skills to help them succeed in college and careers.

May 1,2012 (San Diego) – The Craft Brewers Conference gets underway in San Diego May 2-5 and Yard House, which helped to fuel the craft brew craze 15 years ago when it opened its 250-tap flagship restaurant in Long Beach, will host two events before and during the gathering at its Downtown location at 4th and Broadway.

SALMONELLA OUTBREAK LINKED TO SUSHI AND SASHIMI

 
April 14, 2012 (Cupertino) -- Moon Marine USA Corporation (also known as MMI) of Cupertino, Calif. is voluntarily recalling 58,828 pounds of a frozen raw yellowfin tuna product, labeled as Nakaochi Scrape AA or AAA. Nakaochi Scrape is tuna backmeat, which is specifically scraped off from the bones, and looks like a ground product.

"KIDS LIVE WELL" INITIATIVE SHOWCASES HEALTHFUL MENU OPTIONS FOR CHILDREN
