March 13, 2018 (Alpine) – From vegetable gardening to parenting, great movies to feminism, you’ll find plenty to learn from five authors who have collectively authored 12 books. All will be signing copies of their books at the Alpine branch of the County Library on Saturday, March 17 at 2 p.m.

September 17, 2012 (San Diego) – To promote the release of his new novel Shady Palms in October, San Diego author Allen Dusk is holding a contest to give away signed copies of his book, set in El Cajon. Victims of bedbug attacks are encouraged to post photos of their bites on Twitter and Instagram with the hastag #ShadyPalms. On October 1, 2012 Allen will announce the winners on his website http://www.allendusk.com.

INTERNATIONAL LGBT AUTHOR, COLUMNIST TERRY ANGEL MASON TO SPEAK AT SAN DIEGO NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE

 
May 10, 2012 (San Diego) -- On May 18, 2012, legendary HIV/AIDS advocate, civil rights activist, author and columnist Terry Angel Mason will be a guest speaker at the San Diego Neighborhood House Association, located at 841 South, 41st Street, San Diego, CA 92114. The special event will take place at 1:30 pm, and will include a discussion about HIV/AIDS prevention and book signing by the famed author.

May 1,2012 (San Diego) – The Craft Brewers Conference gets underway in San Diego May 2-5 and Yard House, which helped to fuel the craft brew craze 15 years ago when it opened its 250-tap flagship restaurant in Long Beach, will host two events before and during the gathering at its Downtown location at 4th and Broadway.

46TH ANNUAL AUTHORS EXHIBITION IN FEB.TO FEATURE MANY AUTHORS PROFILED IN EAST COUNTY MAGAZINE

January 26, 2012 (San Diego)--The San Diego Public Library hosts the 46th Annual Authors Exhibition at the downtown library throughout the month of February. The Local Author Exhibit highlights the intellectual and creative accomplishments of writers in the San Diego region, and I am fortunate to be included among those. The aim of the exhibit is to bring exposure to local talent and to nurture the pursuit of the writing arts in San Diego.
