January 24, 2016 (El Cajon) — The San Diego Early Music Society will present  Dorothee Oberlinger on recorder, Florian Birsak on harpsichord, and Marco Testori on cello in “Flauto Veneziano,” a concert on Sunday, April 3 at 3 p.m. in the Cuyamaca College Performing Arts Center.

January 23, 2016 (El Cajon) – The San Diego Early Music Society will present Lina Tur Bonet on violin and Kenneth Weiss on harpsichord in “La Petite Merveille and the Red Priest: Music of Jacquet de la Guerre and Vivaldi” on Sunday, February 21 at 3 p.m. in the Cuyamaca College Performing Arts Theatre (900 Rancho San Diego Parkway, El Cajon).

SAN DIEGO EARLY MUSIC SOCIETY PRESENTS BAROQUE CONCERT APRIL 9

April 7, 2015 (El Cajon) – Members of the San Diego Early Music Society (SDEMS) will be performing baroque concertos for harp, mandolin and flute at Cuyamaca College’s Performing Arts Center on Thursday, April 9 at 7:30 p.m. The program will hear is comprised of concerti of Vivaldi, Telemann, Durante, Corelli and Handel for various combinations of soloists.

“SDEMS members asked for a return visit by Concerto Koeln, and we’re only too happy to comply,” said president Mark Lester. “We’re delighted to be able to bring such an accomplished and widely recognized performing group to our newest venue in East County.”
