JETS’ TIM TEBOW DELIVERS WINNING MESSAGE: FINISH STRONG

June 20, 2012 (San Diego) -- East County’s Shadow Mountain Community Church hosted Tim Tebow New York Jet’s backup quarterback, to speak at a Fathers’ Day service held last weekend at Qualcomm Stadium. 
 
ESPN, NFL TV and other media were in attendance. So were fans Jose Luis Duenas and his wife, Carmalina, who came to see Tebow because “he is a good example for boys.”

Alex Smith Signs Three-Year Deal, Will Stay In San Francisco

March 26, 2012 (La Mesa) --After the San Francisco 49ers entered the Peyton Manning sweepstakes, it was expected that free agent quarterback Alex Smith (La Mesa, Calif./Helix High School) would pack his bags and move on from the only franchise he has ever known. Maybe it would be the Miami Dolphins, where he would reunite with former Helix teammate Reggie Bush. That was not case.
