Friends of Cats in El Cajon is a haven for kittens, adult and senior cats, FIV positive cats and even cats with bad habits or psychological problems! They welcome them all with open arms and take good care of them, providing a safe environment.

SAN DIEGO COUNTY ANIMAL SERVICES OFFERING "STUDY BUDDY" CATS FOR $5 THROUGH SEPTEMBER

 

 

August 29, 2013 (San Diego) –- Hit the books and relax with a quiet "study buddy" kitty by your side. 

County Animal Services' three animal shelters are overstocked on cats so for a limited time only, adoption fees for cats 6 months and older are only $5 through the month of September.

October 2, 2011 (El Cajon)—El Cajon Animal Shelter currently has a large population of kittens, cats and dogs available for adoption. “At this time there are a large number of small dogs, perfect for apartments or homes with small yards,” says Monica Zech, public information officer for the City of El Cajon. “The shelter also has two bunnies available for adoption.”

CATS NEED HOMES: SHELTER IS FULL

 

Donations of cash, food also sought by rescue volunteers

January 19, 2011 (San Diego’s East County) – Nine-year-old Makena Sacks of Blossom Valley volunteers with her mother, Cate Sacks, to train dogs rescued from shelters. Now Makena asks help from ECM readers to save cats slated to be destroyed.

 

“I am hoping that I can save them but there are so many,” she writes. “The people at the shelter are putting cats down starting today, I need help taking these cats.”
