November 1, 2016 (Julian) -- "Chris Gardner has been the Jess Martin Park volunteer park host for 6 years, for the community of Julian, he is simply irreplaceable!" So reads a petition launched by Julian residents hoping to keep Gardner on site.

November 1, 2016 (El Cajon) --- El Cajon Police are searching for a late model Honda Accord, grey or silver, with possible front end damage following a hit-and-run accident Friday night shortly before 9 p.m.  The eastbound vehicle struck and seriously injured a 45-year-old man who was crossing the 1100 block of East Main Street outside of a controlled intersection.

The production ofAlmost Maine featured romantic, funny, and filled with awe moments. The show has closed, but if you fill the need to support or you did not get your Halloween fix, West Hills High in Santee is doing Zombie Prom this weekend.

Baron earns league weekly accolade for the first time of his career

November 1, 2016 (Colorado Springs, Colo.) - San Diego State sophomore kicker John Baron (Temecula, Calif.) has been named the Mountain West Special Teams Player of the Week, the league announced Monday. It is the first weekly league accolade for Baron.
