November 11, 2017 (Los Angeles) - San Diego State diver Alexandra Caplan posted a total score of 526.10 in the 1-meter Championship at the Trojan Diving Invitational on Saturday to lead SDSU’s trio of participants.

November 10, 2017 (Los Angeles) - San Diego State had a pair of divers in action at the Trojan Diving Invitational on Friday with senior Alexandra Caplan and freshman Emily Reed finishing 12th and 16th, respectively, in the 3-meter diving competition.

October 6, 2017 (Fresno) - The San Diego State swimming and diving team recorded a strong first day at the Chick-fil-A Invitational at Fresno State University, capturing 443 points for a second-place standing. The Aztecs only trail 2016-17 national runner-up Cal, who leads the pack with 879 points.

October 5, 2017 (Malibu) - The San Diego State women’s swimming and diving team took a 133-74 decision against Pepperdine at Raleigh Runnels Memorial Pool on Thursday afternoon.

“We mixed it up a bit today. We tried different athletes in different races,” said head coach Mike Shrader. “It provides a little bit of variety, and with the team having a lot of individual medley swimmers, that will hopefully make them stronger going forward.”

September 30, 2017 (Reno) - The San Diego State women’s swimming team placed second in the Nevada Relays with a team score of 152 on Saturday afternoon. Nevada placed first in the event with 186 points and UC Davis rounded out the three squads with a score of 102.

September 1, 2017 (San Diego) - The San Diego State swimming and diving team as announced its 2017-18 schedule, featuring six events at the Aztec Aquaplex. The Aztecs begin the season on Sept. 15 with a dual meet at the University of San Diego.
