$1,000 REWARD OFFERED IN RAMONA COMMERCIAL BURGLARY CASE

November 24, 2020 (Ramona) -- San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the Ramona Sheriff’s substation are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspects responsible for a commercial burglary.

On Monday, November 16 at around 10:00 p.m., two unknown suspects forced entry into the Sunbelt Rentals store located at 2055 Main Street in Ramona. The suspects cut a hole in the outer fence of the property and then proceeded to break a window of the business to gain entry inside. The suspects stole several power tools and generators totaling around $15,000.

LA MESA POLICE DEPT. SEEKS HELP TO IDENTIFY LOOTING SUSPECTS AT LA MESA SPRINGS DURING MAY 30 RIOT: REWARD OFFERED

October 15, 2020 (La Mesa) – Tips from the public helped identify five juveniles now charged with crimes related to the looting of Pierre’s Jewelers during the May 30 civil unrest. Now the La Mesa Police Department (LMPD) has released several surveillance images from La Mesa Springs Shopping Center at 8011 University.

Police also released additional photos from Pierre’s in hopes that the public can again assist in identifying suspects involved in these crimes.

THIRD ARREST MADE IN JAMUL MURDER, ARSON CASE

 

February 2, 2013 (Jamul)--Yesterday, the San Diego Sheriff announced the arrest of Quincy Sharp, 20, as an accessory to the murder of Dillon Davis. Davis’ body was found in the trunk of a burning vehicle on Skyline Truck Trail in Jamul on September 20, 2012. 

Two other suspects have previously been arrested and charged with murder: Miles Sharp (Quincy’s brother) and Devin Gaillard.

VEHICLE BURGLARY SUSPECTS NABBED IN LA MESA

January 16, 2013 (La Mesa) – Two men are in custody after attempting to break into a vehicle at the La Mesa Indoor Soccer Park yesterday evening.  According to Police, the suspects fled the scene but were apprehended with help from the Sheriff’s ASTREA helicopter. 

Officers found the suspects’ vehicle in the parking lot at the Soccer Park, 9586 Murray Drive, and discovered additional stolen property inside.

2 LA MESA MEN ARRESTED IN NATIONAL PORN RING SWEEP

January 5, 2013 (La Mesa) – La Mesa residents Robert Mckany, 36, and Richard White, 57, have been arrested as part of an international effort to break up child pornography rings and rescue young victims from predators.

Arrests of 245 suspects in 35 states have been made. In addition, 123 victims were identified and 44 have been rescued from their abusers.

MEDICAL MARIJUANA DELIVERY DRIVER SHOT WITH PELLET GUN, VEHICLE CARJACKED

Authorities probe series of medical pot thefts, assaults on drivers
 
May 28, 2012 (Rolando) – The latest in a series of attacks on medical marijuana delivery persons occurred May 25 at Livingston and 69th Street in the Rolando area, where a 23-year-old woman driver was shot in the face with a pellet gun and tried to drag her out of the vehicle.  She ran away and the assailants, two Hispanic men, then carjacked her 1998 white Chevy Malibu (CA license 6JAR 664).

32 ARRESTED IN EAST COUNTY WARRANT SWEEPS; ADDITIONAL SUSPECTS URGED TO TURN SELVES IN

 May 12, 2012 (San Diego’s East County) – This morning, 32 suspects with 38 outstanding warrants for felonies and misdemeanors were taken into custody during a sweep of East County neighborhoods conducted by San Diego Sheriff’s Court Services Bureau field unit.

BURGLERS BUSTED IN LA MESA

 
March 22, 2012 (La Mesa) – Three young suspects are under arrest for burglarizing a residence in the 7600 block of Seattle Drive in La Mesa. 
 
Tuesday morning at 10:04 p.m., La Mesa Police received a call from a citizen who provided detailed descriptions of suspects who were breaking into the residence. The witness provided police with updates as officers responded to the scene.
