PEANUT AND ALMOND BUTTERS RECALLED DUE TO SALMONELLA

August 20, 2014 (San Diego’s East County)--Before you pack up a peanut butter sandwich for your children’s school lunches, check the labels.

There is a recall of several brands of peanut butters and almond butters sold at Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Safeway which own Vons, Kroger’s which owns Ralph and Food 4 Less, and others.

March 17, 2014 (San Diego)--During a hazardous materials incident, firefighters and first responders isolate the area and deny entry to keep it contained.  The same goes if you have the flu.  Both are toxic and pose an unreasonable risk to our Health, Safety and Environment!  Isolate yourself and stay away from others because it spreads through contamination.

NESQUIK CHOCOLATE DRINK POWDERS RECALLED DUE TO SALMONELLA RISK

November 12, 2012 (San Diego) -- Nesquik has executed a voluntary recall of limited quantities of Nestlé NESQUIK® chocolate powder in the 10.9, 21.8 and 40.7 ounce canisters due to a supplier notifying the company of possible salmonella contamination. The voluntary recall is limited to only specific production codes of NESQUIK Chocolate Powder. No other varieties of NESQUIK powder or NESQUIK Ready-to-drink are affected by this recall.
 
To check if your NESQUIK® Chocolate Powder carries the production codes being recalled, look on the bottom of the canister, adjacent to the consumer expiration date. If you find NESQUIK Chocolate Powder, with any of the production codes listed below contact Nesequikat (800) 628-7679.

FDA ANNOUNCES RECALL OF CANTELOUPES LINKED TO SALMONELLA OUTBREAK IN 21 STATES

 

 
August 23, 2012 (Washington D.C.)--The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is announcing a recall of cantaloupe by Chamberlain Farms in Indiana because of possible contamination with Salmonella Typhimurium associated with a multi-state outbreak of salmonellosis. The FDA is warning consumers not to eat and to discard cantaloupe from this farm, which shipped products to many states.
