September 25, 2022 (El Cajon) -- The Alley Cat Art Walk was held on Friday, September 16, in El Cajon’s Arts District and featured many artists who represented East County in all its diversity.

August 28, 2022 (El Cajon) – You’re invited to Alley Cat Art Walk, a free evening event Friday, September 16 from 4 to 8 p.m.  Eight art galleries, two art studios, a museum, and other local small businesses will participate, encouraging the public to discover the arts in downtown El Cajon while enjoying fine art, art demonstrations, live music, food and beverages.

10TH ANNUAL ALLEY CAT ART WALK IN EL CAJON SEPTEMBER 17

September 11, 2021 (El Cajon) – You could say it’s the cat’s meow. The 10th annual Alley Cat Art Walk will showcase works of local artists on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the “arts alley” between Main Street and Rea Street in downtown El Cajon.

NEW MURAL UNVEILED IN EL CAJON

December 19, 2019 (El Cajon) -- St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center held a ribbon cutting ceremony to unveil a new mural in historic Downtown El Cajon on Tuesday.
 
The mural, a whimsical depiction of east county flora and fauna is located on the east side of 181 East Rea Avenue (facing Suzfeld Way.) 
 
The mural was painted by Kline Swonger and is one of several colorful murals along what has become known as Alley Cat Alley, home to the annual Alley Cat Art Walk.

ALLEY CAT ART WALK SEPT. 14: A PURR-FECT PLACE FOR ART, MUSIC, WINE AND BEER LOVERS

August 29, 2018 (El Cajon) – Alley Cat Art Walk will take place on Friday, September 14th from 5 to 8 p.m. in downtown El Cajon.  It’s the purr-fect place for lovers of arts and music, plus you can enjoy wine tasting, a beer garden, artisan crafts booths, boutique vendors, live music and children’s activities in addition to fine art.

The event’s activities will be held in Arts Alley between Main and Rea streets, as well as surrounding street.  Alley Cat Art Walk is sponsored by St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center and supported by a San Diego County Community Enhancement grant.

TAKE A STROLL AT THE ALLEY CAT ART WALK SEPT. 15 IN EL CAJON FOR ARTS, CRAFTS, MUSIC AND MORE

September 10, 2017 (El Cajon) – You’re invited to bring the family and stroll through downtown El Cajon’s “art alley” on Rea Street at the 2017 Alley Cat Art Walk on Friday, September 15 from 5 to 10 p.m.

Enjoy over 20 outdoor art and craft vendor booths three live music stages, plus select galleries and businesses serving up complimentary hors d’oeuvres and more. Sophie’s Gallery, for instance, will have beer tasting in addition to foods and art demonstrations.  There will also be food trucks on hand.
