November 3, 2016 (San Diego) - San Diego State women’s soccer senior Victoria Barba (Albuquerque, N.M.) and sophomore kicker John Baron II (Temecula, Calif.) were named two of 16 Stars of the Month for October, selected by the San Diego Hall of Champions.

Pumphrey is one of only four unanimous selections on the team, which was voted on by a panel of college football experts from CBSSports.com and 247Sports.com.

July 26, 2016 (Las Vegas) - The San Diego State football team swept the preseason awards and captured all 29 first-place votes en route to being picked to win the West Division of the Mountain West in the 2016 preseason poll, the league announced Tuesday in Las Vegas. The Aztecs became just the second unanimous preseason pick in MW history (TCU in 2010).
