March 11, 2019 (San Diego) -- Land use and transportation think tank Circulate San Diego released a report this week detailing how an MTS ballot measure could finance transformative transit projects, road repair and safety programs. Transportation leaders and advocates hosted a press conference at the Old Transit Center.

August 4, 2015 (San Diego)--An expansion approved by San Diego State University has been flunked by the state’s Supreme Court. That’s because CSU trustees failed to fund mitigation of traffic impacts on neighborhoods near campus or Interstate 8.

October 12, 2014 (San Diego)--San Diego transit and planning agencies on Thursday  celebrated completion of the $44 million Mid-City Rapid project, which starting Sunday will provide fast bus service between San Diego State University and downtown San Diego.

August 19, 2014 (San Diego) - More than 95 million trips were taken on local trolleys and busses over the past year, the Metropolitan Transit System, or MTS, has announced. That’s an 11.5 percent increase from the 85 million riders in fiscal year 2013.
