May 19, 2017 (San Diego) - You wouldn’t think in 2017 that the Milwaukee Brewers would take a series from any team, but they did from the Padres.  Now the Friars had to regroup as they headed back to NL West play when the Diamondbacks came to town tonight.  Taijuan Walker started on the hill for Arizona against Jered Weaver.

May 18, 2017 (San Diego) - ECM hasn’t checked what the Padres’ win-loss percentage is for day games, but one thing was for sure; they HAD to win today if they wanted to salvage the series with the Brewers before they left town.  Zach Davies started on the hill for Milwaukee against Jarred Cosart, who just returned from the DL.

May 17, 2017 (San Diego) - The Padres that were at Petco on Monday night were nowhere to be found last night, as the Brewers exploded for six runs to win 6-2.  Thankfully, it’s a four-game series, so the Padres have two more chances.  Matt Garza started on the mound tonight for the Brewers against Jhoulys Chacin.

May 16, 2017 (San Diego) - Last night felt like the ending of every sports movie ever made.  Hunter Renfroe’s two-run walk-off home run gave the Padres the win over the Brewers.  That said, the game was quite nerve-wracking for everyone involved, so they tried to tone it down tonight.  Jimmy Nelson started on the mound for the Brewers against Clayton Richard.
