May 9, 2017 (San Diego) - The Padres had a rare Tuesday day game today on the last day of a home-at-home against the Texas Rangers after a great offensive showing last night.  El Cajon native, Grossmont High and USD grad A.J. Griffin started on the mound for the Rangers against Jered Weaver.

UPDATE:  Today's game has been postponed due to rain; will be made up as part of a doubleheader on 9/2

May 6, 2017 (San Diego) - With last night’s ninth inning still fresh in their minds, the Padres took the field again tonight, hoping for a better result.  Clayton Kershaw started on the mound for the Dodgers against Clayton Richard for the Padres.  Good luck with that.

April 29, 2017 (San Francisco) - Remember those Bad Luck Brian memes from 2007?  That was pretty much the Padres’ night last night; they stayed in the game, but a late home run gave the Giants the lead.  However, the Padres’ perseverance gave everyone some hope coming into tonight.  Jhoulys Chacin started on the mound for the Padres against Matt Cain, who’s been pitching surprisingly well.
