August 17, 2017 (San Diego) - The Padres are riding high after a sweep of the Phillies, so they decided to try their luck against a tougher (think first-in-the-NL-East-with-a-71-47-record-and-one-of-the-best-teams-in-baseball tougher) NL East opponent, the Washington Nationals.  For four games.  Talk about over-confident.  Edwin Jackson starts for the Nats against Jhoulys Chacin.
