November 30, 2023 (Lakeside)  --Two people were injured after a fight ended in a shooting and stabbing in Lakeside on Saturday, November 25. 

 

Shortly before 7:30 p.m., deputies from the Lakeside Sheriff's substation responded to reports of a shooting in the 12000 block of Woodside Avenue.

November 10, 2020 (Lakeside) – A man walking with a woman in the riverbed in Lakeside Monday night behind the 76 gas station on Willow Road was stabbed in the back by a stranger, City Times reports.

The victim called 911 to report the stabbing around 9 p.m.

PADRES' TOMMY PHAM STABBED OUTSIDE MIDWAY DISTRICT STRIP CLUB

October 13, 2020 (San Diego) - Padres' outfielder Tommy Pham was stabbed outside of a strip club on Sunday night.

Pham was outside of Pacers Showgirls International on Midway Drive around 10:35 p.m. on Sunday when an argument broke out near his car.  Pham claims he did not know anyone in the altercation and was stabbed when he asked them to get away from his car.

SUSPECT CHARGED WITH MURDER IN LAKESIDE STABBING

May 10, 2020 (Lakeside) – Julia Gonzalez, 23, has been arrested and charged with murder of a man stabbed Friday shortly after midnight following a fight with neighbors at 8200 Jema Way in Lakeside, says Lt. Thomas Seiver with the Sheriff’s department.

Sheriff deputies were called to the scene and Lakeside Fire Department personnel treated the injured man. He was transported to a hospital but did not survive.

STABBING IN UNINCORPORATED EL CAJON

March 16, 2020 (El Cajon) – A suspect in a full-face motorcycle helmet reportedly followed a man into an apartment complex at 325 E. Bradley Ave. in unincorporated El Cajon on Sunday morning, then stabbed the victim in the chest. The suspect fled in a gold sedan, traveling east on Bradley.
 
Deputies from the Lakeside Sheriff’s substation responded to a radio call reporting the assault with a deadly weapon at 11:30 a.m.

STABBING AT IHOP IN SPRING VALLEY

May 17, 2015 (Spring Valley) – Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call of a stabbing near the IHOP restaurant on Broadway in Spring Valley around 11 p.m. on Thursday, May 14th.  According to Sergeant Jeremy Sheppard, two males were fighting in the parking lot when one began stabbing the other.

March 10, 2015 (Spring Valley ) – An altercation outside Sarita’s Taco Shop on Campo Road in Spring Valley early Monday led to a stabbing and gunshots fired, Sergeant David Toner with the Sheriff’s Department in Rancho San Diego reports.

LA MESA WOMAN STABS BOYFRIEND AFTER BEING CHOKED, POLICE SAY

 

March 24, 2014 (La Mesa)--On March 24 at 5:19 am, La Mesa Police were notified by Grossmont Hospital staff that a stab victim had just been brought into the hospital. Minutes before the hospital report, La Mesa Police received reports of a disturbance at a residence in the 3800 block of Murray Hill Drive, La Mesa.  When officers arrived on Murray Hill, they determined the two incidents were related and the stabbing was believed to be in self defense.

MAN STABBED ON BUS IN DEL CERRO

 

July 24, 2013 (Del Cerro) – An unidentified man was stabbed twice on July 20 at 10:25 p.m. at Adobe Falls Road in Del Cerro.  The incident began when several males became belligerent on a party bus, San Diego Police report. 

The driver, a 30-year-old man, told them to get off the bus.  The assailants reportedly began punching the driver.  After another group of males in the same age group intervened, one of the men was stabbed with an unknown object.

4 MEN ARRESTED FOR STABBING IN LA MESA

March 25, 2013 (La Mesa)--La Mesa Police Officers responded to a report of a fight and a possible stabbing in the 8100 block of La Mesa Boulevard last night.  According to Police, a 29 year-old victim was walking with two friends westbound in the 8200 block of La Mesa Boulevard.  Words were exchanged between the victim’s group and a group of five male suspects they encountered on the sidewalk.  A fistfight broke out between both groups.  During the fight one of the suspects armed himself with a pocket knife and stabbed the victim two times in the upper torso.
