March 23, 2017 (El Cajon) - Tonight, Monte Vista and Granite Hills High girls lacrosse squared off in both schools’ second game of conference play.  Both schools sported winning records, with the Monarchs at a solid 7-2 and the Eagles at 3-2.

March 21, 2017 (Rancho Santa Fe) - The San Diego State women's golf team capped off the 2017 SDSU March Mayhem match-play event with an eighth-place finish after dropping a trio of 3-2 decisions on Tuesday at The Farms Golf Club. The Aztecs experienced a narrow setback to Mountain West rival Fresno State in the completion of Monday's suspended second round, followed by a pair of close defeats to Old Dominion and Northwestern, respectively, in consolation play.

March 19, 2017 (San Diego) - San Diego State put together a seven-run sixth inning to break open a close contest and went on to defeat UNLV 13-5 Sunday afternoon at Tony Gwynn Stadium. With the win, the Aztecs captured the weekend series against the Rebels (two games to one) and improved to 13-7 (4-2 Mountain West) on the season.

March 19, 2017 (Gold River, Calif.) - The San Diego State rowing team ended its final day at the Hornet Invitational on Sunday where they claimed two victories and a third place finish on Lake Natoma. The Aztecs showed their depth on Sunday, finishing in first place in both the second varsity eight and the varsity four races ahead of Loyola Marymount and Drexel University, but ended the varsity eight in third behind their two opponents.

March 18, 2017 (Gold River, Calif.) - The San Diego State rowing team traveled to Lake Natoma on Saturday where it finished first in six of seven races, with wins over American Athletic Conference foe Sacramento State and Saint Mary’s. The Aztecs raced eight boats in seven scheduled events today, first in morning races against the Hornets and versus the Gaels in the afternoon.

March 18, 2017 (Bakersfield) - No. 12 San Diego State completed a four-game-in-three-day stretch on Saturday by splitting two games at the Roadrunner Invitational in Bakersfield. The Aztecs defeated Cal State East Bay, 15-4, before falling to No. 11 Princeton, 5-4. The two decisions put SDSU’s record for the season at 11-9.

March 17, 2017 (El Cajon) - In the midst of Helix basketball’s playoff run, spring sports have begun in East County’s high schools and on St. Patrick's Day, Valhalla High boys lacrosse traveled to Grossmont for an early season conference matchup which marked the beginning of conference play.  Both teams are struggling in the young season; the Norsemen are 0-4 and the Foothillers are 0-3.

March 17, 2017 (San Diego) -  San Diego State tried to right the ship in its second match of the San Diego Spring Break Tournament, but still encountered rough waters in a 4-1 defeat to Harvard in the consolation round Friday at Aztec Tennis Center. With the result, SDSU was unable to avoid its fourth loss in a row, falling to 5-9 on the year, while the Crimson improve to 9-7 overall.

March 17, 2017 (Indianapolis) - San Diego State diver Alexandra Caplan competed on the 3-meter springboard at the 2017 NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships on Friday, advancing out of the prelims and placing seventh in the consolation final. The championships are being hosted by the Indiana Sports Corp and IUPUI this week in Indianapolis, Ind.
