April 27, 2019 (San Diego) - Third-seeded San Diego State suffered a heartbreaking 4-0 loss to top-seeded UNLV in Saturday’s Mountain West Championship final. The Aztecs fell in two in doubles play, and despite getting close on one singles court, fell scoreless in singles play.

April 26, 2019 (San Diego) - For the first time in six seasons, the third-seeded San Diego State women’s tennis team will play in the Mountain West Championship match following a 4-2 upset over second-seeded Air Force in Friday’s semifinal. The Falcons clinched the doubles point, but the Aztecs charged back in singles action to advance.

March 10, 2019 (San Diego) -  The San Diego State women's tennis team hosted its second match of the weekend on Sunday, dominating Pacific 4-0 to snap a three-match losing streak.

The Aztecs opened the afternoon by clinching heir second doubles point of the week. Freshmen Shakhnoza Khatamova and Agustina Rimoldi Godoy made quick work of Pacific’s Anneroos Nederstigt and Maya Lopez, going 6-2 in the match, while sophomore Nnena Nadozie and freshman Alicia Melosch topped Jacquie Tan and Dohee Lee, 6-4 in the top seed to claim the doubles point.

The Aztecs had the edge in doubles play, but faced tough matchups in singles action and eventually dropped the dual to the Blue Raiders.

February 26, 2019 (Los Angeles) - San Diego State women's tennis faced its first ranked opponent Tuesday afternoon in No. 32 Southern California, who defeated the Aztecs 5-2 at the Marks Tennis Stadium. Despite the loss, sophomores Abbie Mulbarger and Nnena Nadozie captured wins in singles play, the latter of whom claimed her first career win over a ranked opponent.

February 10, 2019 (San Diego) - San Diego State women's tennis improves its record to 5-1 with Sunday’s 4-0 win over Cal Poly, the team’s second victory of the weekend.

The Scarlet and Black made quick work of the Mustangs on Sunday, setting the tone with two fast wins in doubles to claim the first point. Sophomore Nnena Nadozie and freshman Alicia Melosch topped Cal Poly’s Kim Bhunu and Emily Ackerman 6-3 in the second seed, while senior Jenny Moinard and freshman Shakhnoza Khatamova defeated Emily Louie-Meadors and MacKenzie Worsnop 6-3 in the No. 1 seed to get to 1-0 in the dual.

The Aztecs will also be hosting the Mountain West Women’s Tennis Championships in late April 2019.

Wathen Tennis Center. SDSU was unable to surpass the ‘Dogs in doubles play and recovered too late in singles.

This is the second career weekly conference honor for Buth, who also won the award on Jan. 31, 2018 for her perfect singles and doubles records earlier this season.
