October 21, 2016 (Fort Collins, Colo.) - San Diego State women’s soccer earned a 2-1 victory at Colorado State on Friday afternoon. The win was the Aztecs’ fourth straight and moved them to 8-6-2 overall and 6-1-2 in the Mountain West. The Rams, meanwhile, fell to 3-12-2 (1-7-1 MW).

October 20, 2016 (San Diego) - Utah State got a measure of pay back against San Diego State as it defeated the Aztecs in five sets (22-25. 25-20, 25-13, 20-25, 15-11) Thursday night at the Wayne Estes Center in Logan, Utah. The result was the reverse of the decision achieved by SDSU in late September when it downed the Aggies in five sets on Aztec Court in San Diego.

October 18, 2016 (San Diego) - San Diego State senior running back Donnel Pumphrey (Las Vegas) has been named a CBS Sports Midseason All-American, CBSSports.com announced Tuesday. Pumphrey is one of only four unanimous selections on the team, which was voted on by a panel of college football experts from CBSSports.com and 247Sports.com.

October 17, 2016 (Colorado Springs, Colo.) - San Diego State women’s soccer student-athletes Aliyah Utush and Victoria Barba were named the Mountain West Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively. It marks the second and third time this season that an Aztec has been recognized by the league.

October 14, 2016 (San Diego) - San Diego State won seven individual swimming events, two relays and both diving competitions on Friday as it posted dual meet victories over UC San Diego (156.60-137.50) and Vanderbilt (168-94) at the Aztec Aquaplex. The wins improved SDSU to 4-0 on the season.

October 9, 2016 (Reno) - Angela Mitchell scored the golden goal with three seconds left in the second overtime period to lift San Diego State to a 2-1 victory at Nevada on Sunday afternoon. The victory propels the Aztecs to a 5-6-2 record (3-1-2 Mountain West), while the Wolf Pack fall to 4-9 (1-5 MW).

October 8, 2016 (San Diego) - Aztecs men’s soccer played in its third Pac-12 match of the season tonight against #13 UCLA.

After a quiet first half, it was UCLA who struck first in the 63rd minute of the second half on a nice goal by Jose Hernandez and the Bruins took a 1-0 lead to the 90th minute to win it.
