March 22, 2019 (Austin, Texas) - Sophomore Klara Thormalm of the San Diego State swimming and diving team broke the Mountain West record and posted the ninth fastest 100 breast time at the NCAA Championships en route to winning the consolation final at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center on Thursday.

March 6, 2019 (San Diego) - Morganne McKennan, Klara Thormalm and Courtney Vincent of the San Diego State swimming and diving team have all qualified for multiple events for the NCAA Championships from March 20-23. The championships will take place at the Lee & Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center on the campus of the University of Texas.

February 23, 2019 (Minneapolis) - The San Diego State swimming and diving team clinched the 2019 Mountain West Championship on Saturday night at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center, topping second-place Nevada by a 102-point margin. The championship marks as SDSU's first since 2015 and their fourth championship overall.

February 22, 2019 (Minneapolis) - San Diego State swimming and diving took first place in four of a possible six events on Friday, overtaking Nevada for the top spot at the Mountain West Championships heading into the final day. The Aztecs head into Saturday with a 62.5-point advantage over Nevada.

February 21, 2019 (Minneapolis) - The San Diego State swimming and diving team trimmed its deficit against first-place standing Nevada to just 2.5 points after a successful second day at the Mountain West Championships on Thursday.

February 20, 2019 (Minneapolis) - Freshman diver Ximena Lechuga Gonzalez and the 200 medley relay team of Elli Ferrin, Klara Thormalm, Courtney Vincent and Alma Thormalm both set school records for the San Diego State swimming and diving team on the first day of the Mountain West Championships. The Aztecs currently sit in second with 178.5 points, trailing only Nevada by a 25.5-point margin.

November 16, 2018 (Columbia, Mo.) - The San Diego State swimming and diving team continued a strong run at the Mizzou Invitational on Friday, maintaining their third-place standing after the second day of events. Heading into tomorrow's final day, the Aztecs (441.5 points) only trail Missouri (768.5) and Arkansas (503).

After a pair of third-place finishes in relays on Thursday, the Aztecs recorded another third-place finish in the 200 medley relay, with Elli Ferrin, Klara Thormalm, Courtney Vincent, and Alma Thormalm combining for a 1:39.39 -- the sixth fastest time in school history.

October 19, 2018 (La Jolla) - The San Diego State swimming and diving team recorded a strong showing at UC San Diego on Friday afternoon, defeating the Tritons 218-81, UC Davis 209-90 and Mountain West foe Boise State 154-145. With a trio of wins, the Aztecs improve to 5-0 in dual meet competition this season.

September 22, 2018 (San Diego) - The San Diego State swimming and diving team took first place in a relay meet against Washington State and Nevada on Friday afternoon, scoring 158 points over the 10-relay event. The Aztecs recorded the top time in seven of the 10 races.

March 17, 2018 (Columbus) - Sophomore swimmer Courtney Vincent and senior diver Alexandra Caplan wrapped up their efforts at the NCAA Championships this weekend.

Caplan, SDSU’s program record holder on the 3-meter and 1-meter boards, collected a 22nd place finish on the 1-meter board with a score of 278.40, missing the final round by just 7.05 points. Caplan’s score was the second-best score in the preliminary round by a student-athlete from a non-power 5 conference. Caplan also collected a 35th-place score on the 3-meter board at 282.80.

March 7, 2018 (Flagstaff) - A trio of San Diego State divers were in action on the final day of the NCAA Zone E Diving Championships on Wednesday, including sophomore Delaney Gallagher, who reached the final round of platform competition with a preliminary score of 209.20.

March 6, 2018 (San Diego) - San Diego State diver Alexandra Caplan posted a fifth-place finish in 3-meter action at the NCAA Zone E Diving Championships on Tuesday, solidifying her place at NCAA Championships in Columbus, Ohio from March 14 – 17.

March 5, 2018 (Flagstaff) - The San Diego State swimming and diving team had five divers in action at the NCAA Zone E Championships on the first day of competition featuring 1-meter action in a 59-diver field.

Alexandra Caplan led the Aztecs with a 13th-place finish, scoring at 266.90. Caplan’s effort was followed by sophomore Marie Yacopino, who placed 35th with a 234.05.

February 28, 2018 (San Diego) - San Diego State sophomore swimmer Courtney Vincent qualified for the NCAA championships in the 100 butterfly after winning the individual title in the MW championships earlier this month with a time of 52.41.

February 20, 2018 (San Diego) - 11 individuals and four relay teams from the San Diego State swimming and diving team earned All-Mountain West honors Monday, including freshman Klara Thormalm, who earned Freshman of the Meet honors last weekend at the MW Championships in San Antonio, Texas.
