October 19, 2018 (San Diego) - The Aztec men’s soccer team knocked off San Diego 2-0 in front of a crowd of 1,391 fans at Torero Stadium Friday evening.

October 13, 2018 (San Diego) - The last time we saw Aztecs men’s soccer, they took a tough 2-1 loss from Washington last Sunday.  Tonight they’re back in action looking for a better result against 7-4 UCLA.

October 7, 2018 (San Diego) - SDSU men’s soccer continued their home stand today after beating Oregon State 1-0 on Thursday night.  The Aztecs got up bright and early today to face the Huskies of Washington, who come to California with a 5-5 record.

October 4, 2018 (San Diego) - The Aztec men’s soccer team (5-4-1, 1-2-0) shutout Oregon State 1-0 Thursday evening to earn their first Pac-12 win of the season. Damian German scored the game-winner in the 60th minute, finishing a beautiful lofted pass from Pablo Pelaez.

September 30, 2018 (Berkeley) - The Aztecs men’s soccer team (4-4-1, 0-2-0) fell at California 1-0 Sunday afternoon, suffering their second consecutive shutout to begin Pac-12 play. The Golden Bears’ Shinya Kadona scored the game-winning goal in the 60th minute.

September 27, 2018 (Palo Alto) - The Aztec men’s soccer team (4-3-1, 0-1-0) had their four-match win streak snapped Thursday evening after falling 3-0 at Stanford. The Cardinal (4-1-3, 1-0-0), who have won the last three national championships, scored all three of their goals in an 11 minute span in the second half to secure the win in the Pac-12 opener.

September 24, 2018 (San Diego) - The Aztec men’s soccer team (4-2-1) scored two goals in the first five minutes and then held on for a 2-1 win over UNLV (5-4-0) Monday evening at the SDSU Sports Deck for their fourth consecutive win.

September 14, 2018 (San Diego) - The Aztec men’s soccer team (3-2-1) won their third match in a row with a dominating 2-0 win over Brown Friday evening. Damian German, a transfer from Grand Canyon, scored both goals, one in each half and the Aztecs outshot the Bears 18-3.

September 9, 2018 (San Diego) - On the last day of the San Diego Central Tournament, Aztecs men’s soccer hosted UC Irvine. Redshirt junior Pablo Pelaez scored the game winner in Friday night’s tournament matchup against LIU Brooklyn that gave the Aztecs a 2-1 win.

September 7, 2018 (San Diego) - The Aztec men’s soccer team (1-2-1) secured their first win of the season with a 2-1 victory over LIU Brooklyn (1-3-1) Friday evening at the SDSU Sports Deck. Pablo Pelaez had an assist and a highlight reel game-winning goal in the 70th minute to help the Aztecs overcome a 1-0 deficit.

September 1, 2018 (San Diego) - San Diego State men’s soccer has started the season decently, sporting a win, a loss and a tie.  Tonight they kicked off September with their home opener against Army, appropriately deemed Military Appreciation Night at SDSU Sports Deck.

August 26, 2018 (San Francisco) - The San Diego State men’s soccer team (0-1-1) tied San Francisco 1-1 on the road Sunday afternoon to wrap up the Aztecs’ Bay Area road swing.

August 24, 2018 (Santa Clara) - The San Diego State men’s soccer team fell in their season opener 2-0 at Santa Clara Friday evening. The Broncos scored the game-winning goal on a PK in the 64th minute and then added an insurance goal in the 88th minute.

July 19, 2018 (San Diego) - San Diego State men’s soccer head coach Lev Kirshner has revealed the Aztecs’ schedule for the upcoming 2018 season. SDSU will have seven matches against teams that reached the 2017 NCAA tournament, including two dates with Stanford, the 2017 national champion. Their season kicks off August 24 at Santa Clara.
