October 2, 2016 (San Diego) - San Diego State’s Travis Nicklaw recorded his third game-winning goal of the year as the No. 22/19 Aztec men’s soccer team emerged with a 1-0 triumph over 16th-ranked Washington Sunday in a Pac-12 clash at SDSU Sports Deck. With the victory, the Aztecs raise their record to 6-1-3 on the year and 1-0-1 in conference play, while the Huskies slip to 7-3 overall and 1-1 in the Pac-12.

October 1, 2016 (San Diego) - San Diego State got back on the winning track with a three-set victory (25-19, 26-24, 25-22) over Air Force Saturday night at Clune Arena in Colorado Springs, Colo. The win was the sixth in the last eight matches for the Aztecs, who improved to 10-7 overall and 2-1 in the Mountain West.

September 30, 2016 (Fresno) - San Diego State and Fresno State played to a 1-1 draw Friday night at the Bulldogs’ Soccer and Lacrosse Field. SDSU ran its unbeaten streak to three games with the result and moved to 4-5-1 on the season (2-0-1 Mountain West). Fresno State, meanwhile, watched its record go to 5-5-1 (0-2-1 MW).

September 29, 2016 (Boise) - San Diego State struggled offensively Thursday evening as it dropped a three-set decision (25-19, 25-23, 25-16) to Boise State in Bronco Gym. With the loss, the Aztecs fell to 9-7 (1-1 Mountain West) on the season while the Broncos improved to 11-5 (2-1 MW).

Despite firing a collective 11-over 299 during the final round, the Aztecs emerged victorious by eight shots over two second-place squads Denver and Pepperdine (+10), while Old Dominion, Tennessee and Washington State all tied for fourth at 17-over for the week.
