August 6, 2014 (El Cajon)—Mark Arabo,  a local Chaldean leader, and a coalition he has assembled will meet with U.S. National Security Advisor Susan Rice at the White House on Thursday and possibly Secretary of State John Kerry.  A press release announcing the upcoming meeting states that they will discuss the Christian genocide in Iraq, Syria and Lebanon by the terrorist group ISIS.

CHAPARRAL INSTITUTE: NEWS STORY FALSELY CLAIMS "EVERYTHING IS DEAD" ONE YEAR AFTER YOSEMITE FIRE

 

August 5, 2014 (San Diego)—The Chaparral Institute, a San Diego-based environmental organization, has issued a press release revealing that a CBS affiliate in Sacramento recycled a sensationalized 2013 Associated Press news article this week with a new headline that reads,  “1 Year Later, Scientists Find Yosemite Rim Fire Left Behind a Sierra Moonscape.” The story suggested that “everything is dead” – a point disputed by the Chaparral institute.

August 2, 2014 (Santee)—The San Diego Sheriff’s Department and the San Diego Regional Fugitive Task Force (FTF) have issued a “be on the lookout” request to the public for Jacquiline Francine Jackson. She is wanted on charges of assault with a deadly weapon at a home in Santee. A no-bail felony warrant has been issued for her arrest.

There was also a rally last month and a prayer vigil. The latest event was organized by the East County Chaldean American Chamber of Commerce. There was an estimated attendance of about 100 at this rally.
