February 23, 2019 (Newport Beach) - The No. 25 San Diego State (3-6) water polo team lost to No. 9 UC Santa Barbara 11-5 Saturday morning in the Aztecs’ second game of the Barbara Kalbus Invitational.

The Guachos outscored SDSU 4-0 in the first quarter. SDSU was able to close the gap to 5-3 early in the third quarter but then UCSB pulled away with six unanswered goals.

February 14, 2019 (San Diego) - The No. 25 San Diego State water polo team knocked off the University of Toronto 11-3 in an exhibition match Thursday afternoon. Playing in the rain, the Aztecs allowed the opening goal then reeled of eight unanswered goals.

February 9, 2019 (La Jolla) - The No. 22 San Diego State water polo team (1-4) went 0-2 in the first day of the Triton Invitational at UC San Diego on Saturday. The Aztecs lost to No. 9 Arizona State 7-12 in their first game and they fell to No. 21 CSUN 7-3 in their afternoon tilt.

January 19, 2019 (Honolulu) - The 19^th-ranked San Diego State water polo team split their first two games of the season at the Rainbow Invite Saturday. The Aztecs opened the season with an 11-6 victory over Sonoma State and then lost later in the afternoon to Marist 7-6.

April 14, 2018 (Stockton) - In a battle of the top two teams in the Golden Coast Conference standings, T-No. 21 San Diego State finished on the short end of a 13-10 score at seventh-ranked Pacific Friday night in Stockton. The loss dropped the Aztecs to 12-14 on the year and 4-2 in the GCC, while the Tigers moved to 13-7 (5-0 GCC).

March 11, 2018 (San Diego) - T-No. 21 San Diego State wrapped up the Aztec Invitational on a positive note Sunday after knocking off Bucknell by an 11-7 count at Aztec Aquaplex. With the victory, SDSU finishes the weekend with a 3-1 record, improving to 8-10 overall, while the Bison slip to an identical 8-10 mark on the year.

March 9, 2018 (San Diego) - T-No. 21 San Diego State dropped its first-ever Golden Coast game on Friday, falling to 12^th-ranked LMU, 5-2, at Aztec Aquaplex. The loss moved SDSU to 27-1 all-time in GCC action.

The contest between two of the original members of the Golden Coast was a defensive battle as the Lions led after one half, 1-0, with Daniela Hernandez recording the goal.
