January 26, 2020 (Las Vegas) -  Malachi Flynn scored 21 points and No. 4 San Diego State staved off UNLV's second-half rally to win 71-67 on Sunday, remaining the country's only unbeaten team.

The Aztecs (21-0, 10-0 Mountain West) broke the school record for best start in the program's 99 seasons. San Diego State's 21st consecutive victory also tops the school record of 20 straight wins, set during the 2010-11 season and matched by the 2013-14 squad that made the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.

January 5, 2020 (Logan, Utah) - Stout defense is a cornerstone of success for San Diego State this season. It certainly helped the No. 13 Aztecs extend their unbeaten start in a tough road environment.

Malachi Flynn scored 22 points, Matt Mitchell added 19 and San Diego State beat Utah State 77-68 on Saturday night to improve to 15-0. The Aztecs own the nation's longest winning streak. Auburn is the only other undefeated Division I team.

Schakel hit 5 of 7 from deep and finished with 19 points and Malachi Flynn added 17 points while dishing out five assists for SDSU (2-0) which halted a six-game losing streak in Provo. Feagin finished with 12 points.  Nathan Mensah had seven points to go with 11 rebounds.

June 6, 2019 (San Diego) - San Diego State men’s basketball released the initial version of its Mountain West Conference schedule for the 2019-20 campaign on Thursday; the first phase in the 2019-20 schedule process. For the seventh consecutive year, the format will include 18-games (nine home and nine road games) with each team playing eight opponents twice (home-and-home) and two opponents once.  MW games begin on Dec. 4 and wrap up on Feb. 29.

Devin Watson had 19 points for San Diego State (20-12).  Nathan Mensah added seven rebounds.

Kris Clyburn had 19 points for the Runnin' Rebels (17-14). Amauri Hardy added 11 points and seven assists. Joel Ntambwe had 10 points and eight rebounds.
