March 7, 2020 (San Diego) - San Diego State women's tennis team collected a 6-1 victory over the Grand Canyon University Lopes in a Saturday matinee at Aztec Tennis Center March 7.

GCU would win its only matches of the day in doubles play, led by Weiss and Puehse's 6-3 win on court one over sophomore Alicia Melosch and senior Mia Smith. The Aztecs opened with a 6-1 decision on court two as junior Tamara Arnold and freshman Julia Jordan topped Grand Canyon's Occhipinti and Lo Pumo. The Lopes secured the point with a 6-3 victory over the third-seeded SDSU duo of junior Nnena Nadozie and freshman Cécile Morin.

February 19, 2020 (San Diego) - San Diego State women’s tennis fell just short of a victory on Wednesday, dropping its dual against the University of Hawai’i 4-3 at Aztec Tennis Center.

The ‘Bows captured the doubles point after defeating the Aztecs’ second and third-seeded pairs. UH’s Markovic and Takamura handed freshman Julia Jordan and junior Tamara Arnold a 6-3 decision on court two, while juniors Nnena Nadozie and Abbie Mulbarger were unable to overcome the Rainbow Wahine’s Ehn and Pits, falling 6-4.

February 16, 2020 (San Diego) - San Diego State women’s tennis earned its second win of the weekend when it topped Cal Poly 6-1 Sunday at Aztec Tennis Center.

In doubles play, Cal Poly got a quick jump on the Aztecs with a 6-4 victory over senior Mia Smith and sophomore Alicia Melosch on court one. With the match’s first point on the line, juniors Nnena Nadozie and Abbie Mulbarger secured a 6-4 decision on court three to even the score. In exciting fashion, second-seeded freshman Julia Jordan and junior Tamara Arnold broke a 5-5 tie with two-straight game wins, winning 7-5 and bringing the doubles point home for SDSU.

February 15, 2020 (San Diego) - San Diego State women’s tennis cruised past Cal State Fullerton Saturday with a 4-0 victory at Aztec Tennis Center.

The Aztecs’ doubles teams secured SDSU’s first point of the match, led by junior Tamara Arnold and freshman Julia Jordan topping Fullerton’s Acidera and Valenzuela 6-0. Sophomore Alicia Melosch and senior Mia Smith followed with a come-from-behind victory over the Titans’ Suh and Garcia, besting the duo 6-3 after starting the set off down 3-0.

January 31, 2020 (San Diego) - San Diego State women’s tennis closed out their three-game homestand to open the 2020 season falling 5-2 to the University of Alabama on Friday.

For the first time this season, all three Aztec duos fell in doubles action. On court one, junior Nnena Nadozie and sophomore Alicia Melosch dropped a close match to Alabama’s No.51-ranked Moka Ita and Isabella Harvison, falling 7-6 (6).  Freshman Julia Jordan and junior transfer Tamara Arnold suffered a 6-2 defeat by Sasha Gorchanyuk and Alba Cortina Pou while Alabama’s Ann Selim and Ares Teixido captured a 6-4 decision over junior Abbie Mulbarger and senior Mia Smith.

The victory over the Highlanders is the Aztecs’ second-straight season-opening sweep, last besting Sacramento State 7-0 to open the 2019 season.
