March 2, 2019 (San Jose) - The Aztec women’s basketball team (10-17, 5-11) fell at San José State (5-22, 4-12) Saturday afternoon. The Spartans hit 14 three-pointers with seven of them coming from Analyss Benally, who poured in 31 points.

February 16, 2019 (Boise) - The Aztecs women’s basketball team (10-13, 5-7) had their four-game winning streak with a 91-67 loss at first place Boise State (21-3, 12-1) Saturday afternoon. The high-powered Bronco offense scored 50 points on 68 percent shooting in the first half and built an insurmountable lead.

February 9, 2019 (Logan, Utah) - The Aztec women’s basketball team (9-12, 4-6) outlasted Utah State (10-12, 5-6) 56-54 Saturday afternoon.  Senior Arantxa Gómez-Ferrer hit two clutch free throws win 22 seconds left and the Aztecs got two big defensive stops in the final seconds to secure their third straight win.

February 7, 2019 (San Diego) - The Aztec women’s basketball team (8-12, 3-6) defeated first place New Mexico (18-3, 8-2) 61-59 in front of 4,272 fans Wednesday afternoon. SDSU had their best defensive performance of the year and held the high-powered Lobo offense to 32 percent shooting from the field and 11 percent from three.

January 16, 2019 (Albuquerque) - The San Diego State women’s basketball team rallied back from a 19-point deficit, but fell just short at New Mexico Wednesday evening, losing 70-62. The Aztecs tied the game with 3:25 left, but then saw the Lobos finished the contest on an 8-0 run to seal the victory.

January 12, 2019 (San Diego) - The San Diego State women’s basketball team (6-8, 1-2) outscored Air Force 21-11 in the fourth quarter to earn a 70-61 win Saturday afternoon inside Viejas Arena. Najé Murray scored a season-high 23 points and SDSU made a season-high 26 free-throws.

January 9, 2019 (Laramie, Wyo.) - The San Diego State women’s basketball team fell at Wyoming 87-45 Wednesday evening. The Cowgirls shot 44 percent from three and outscored the Aztecs 28-12 in the second quarter and maintained a double-digit lead for the entire second half.

January 5, 2019 (San Diego) - ECM Sports finally made it to a basketball game on the Mesa and the lady Aztecs were ready to start Mountain West conference play today against Boise State.  They’re barely staying afloat with a 5-6 record overall.

December 21, 2018 (San Diego) - The Aztec women’s basketball team (5-6) lost to UC Santa Barbara 63-58 Friday afternoon in their final non-conference game of the season. SDSU shot 48 percent from the field compared to the Gauchos’ 40 percent clip but couldn’t overcome a slow start which found themselves down 18 points in the first half.

December 9, 2018 (Northridge) - The Aztec women’s basketball team (5-4) fell at CSUN 77-74 Sunday evening.  After trailing by 23 points early in the fourth quarter, the Aztecs came roaring back behind the hot shooting from freshman Sophia Ramos and pulled within a point with 28 seconds left and had two chances in the closing seconds, but ultimately fell just short.

December 7, 2018 (Irvine) - The San Diego State women’s basketball team (5-4) dealt UC Irvine (7-1) their first loss of the season with a 78-70 win at the Bren Events Center Friday evening.  The Aztecs offset a season-high 26 turnovers by shooting 60 percent (12-from-20) from three-point territory.

December 2, 2018 (San Diego) - The San Diego State women’s basketball team (4-4) lost to Arizona 69-60 Sunday afternoon at Viejas Arena. SDSU led by as much as 12 points in the second quarter but saw Arizona storm back in the second half with hot shooting and a tricky zone defense.

November 28, 2018 (San Diego) - The San Diego State women’s basketball team (4-3) lost a nail biter at USD 72-71 Wednesday evening at the Jenny Craig Pavilion. In a game that featured 16 ties and 12 lead changes, the Toreros took their first lead of the fourth quarter after Myah Pace hit two free throws with four seconds left.

November 24, 2018 (San Diego) - The San Diego State women’s basketball team (4-2) had their three-game winning streak snapped with an 81-64 loss to TCU (4-1) in the final game of the SDSU Thanksgiving Classic Saturday evening.

November 15, 2018 (Fullerton) - The San Diego State women’s basketball team knocked off Cal State Fullerton 83-72 Thursday evening at Titan Gym. Four Aztecs scored at least 15 points, led by Téa Adams’ career-high 21 points.

November 13, 2018 (Santa Clara) - The San Diego State women’s basketball team suffered their first loss of the 2018-19 season with a 60-43 loss at Santa Clara Tuesday afternoon.

The Aztecs shot just 27 percent from the field and failed to make a three-pointer. They were led by Téa Adams’ 10 points. Mallory Adams chipped in nine and Sophia Ramos had eight.

November 9, 2018 (San Diego) - The Aztec women’s basketball team knocked off Hawai’i 58-57 in their season opener Friday afternoon inside Viejas Arena. Téa Adams hit a difficult driving lay-in to give the Aztecs the lead with seven seconds left and then SDSU got a stop on the other side of the floor to secure the victory.
