October 28, 2017 (Alberquerque) - Freshman Mia Root provided the game-winning goal in double overtime to push San Diego State past New Mexico on the road Friday night 4-3 at UNM Soccer Complex. October 23, 2017 (San Diego) - Fresh off a pair of impressive victories over Boise State and Utah State, the San Diego State volleyball team collected two Mountain West awards on Monday as Gabi Peoples (Beaverton, Ore.) was named Offensive Player of the Week, while Devyn Pritchard (Temecula, Calif.) was selected Defensive Player of the Week. The two accolades were the first career honors for the Aztec teammates.

The Aztecs are now 4-9-0 (0-5-0 Pac-12) on the year, while the Bruins jump above .500 in both their overall record (6-5-0) and Pac-12 record (3-2-0).
