The Aztecs improved to 28-12 overall and 12-2 in Mountain West play, while the Broncos fell to 28-9 and 7-4.

April 13, 2022 (Santa Cruz) - The San Diego State men’s golf team took fourth place at the 75th annual Western Intercollegiate Wednesday at the historic par-70, 6,615-yard Pasatiempo Golf Club. The Aztecs shot a 2-under 348 in Wednesday’s final round to finish at 42-over 1,092.

Saturday’s day was highlighted by first place finishes by Sakura Roberson (400m dash), Simone Johnson (triple jump) and the 4x400m relay team at ASU and a second-place finish by Thaila Wilson in the javelin at UCSD.

The Aztecs (26-11, 10-1 MW) lost for the first time in Mountain West play and had their 12-game winning streak snapped.

SDSU outshot the Tigers 29-25 but had just a .276 shot percentage compared to Pacific’s .560.
