June 3, 2022 (Milwaukee) - The Padres were robbed last night and it was their own fault.  They tried to make it right tonight with Grossmont High alum Joe Musgrove on the mound against Corbin Burnes for Milwaukee.

We were scoreless until the fifth when Austin Nola scored and the Padres led 1-0 after five.

May 22, 2022 (Tempe) - The San Diego State softball team saw its season come to end at the NCAA Tempe Regional final with an 8-4 loss at No. 8/5 Arizona State Sunday afternoon at Farrington Stadium. The Mountain West champion Aztecs finished 39-16 (.709), the second-best record in program history.

May 22, 2022 (Tempe) - The San Diego State softball team spotted host No. 8/5 Arizona State eight runs in the top of the first inning and couldn’t quite come back in an 11-8 loss in game three of the NCAA Tempe Regional Saturday afternoon at Farrington Stadium. With the loss, the Aztecs (38-15) will play the winner of No. 22/20 LSU and Cal State Fullerton in an elimination game later tonight, while the Pac-12 champion Sun Devils (41-9) advance to the regional final at 3 p.m. PT Sunday.

May 18, 2022 (Norman, Okla.) - The San Diego State men’s golf team had its season come to an end with an eighth-place finish at the NCAA Norman Regional at 9-over-par 873. The Aztecs collectively shot a 2-over 290 on the par-72, 7,452-yard Jimmy Austin OU Golf Club in today’s final round but finished 13 shots behind Utah for fifth place and the region’s final spot into the NCAA Championships slated for May 27-June 1 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.

May 14, 2022 (Clovis) - Four Aztecs won individual events, and two relay teams were crowned event champions as the Aztecs were crowned Mountain West Conference Champions for the second consecutive year. Jada Moore, Simone Johnson, Danae Dyer and Kaitlin Heri all won their respective events throughout the weekend, while the Aztecs won both the 4x100m relay and the 4x400m relay on Saturday night.
