July 16, 2018 (San Diego) - San Diego State lacrosse head coach Kylee White has signed a three-year contract extension that will keep the 2018 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation champion on The Mesa through the 2021 campaign.

April 29, 2018 (San Diego) - Today’s game, win or lose, marked a milestone for SDSU lacrosse as it was the first Mountain Pacific Sports Federation title game in program history.  The Aztecs had only the Aggies of UC Davis blocking their way to glory.

April 28, 2018 (San Diego) - The San Diego State lacrosse team exploded for 11 goals in the first half en route to a 16-6 conquest of Fresno State in the semifinal game of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championship on Friday at Aztec Lacrosse Field.

April 23, 2018 (El Cajon) - Grossmont boys lacrosse, like most other Grossmont sports, is undefeated in league, sporting a perfect 9-0 while remaining almost flawless overall, going 11-2.  Tonight, they faced a school that ECM Sports doesn’t get to cover as much when league play comes around due to league differences, the Patriots of Patrick Henry, who are just as good, sitting at 3-1 in the Eastern League and 9-6 overall.

April 21, 2018 (South Bend, Ind.) - The San Diego State lacrosse team wrapped up its regular-season schedule on a sour note Saturday, dropping a 16-7 decision to 20th-ranked Notre Dame in a non-conference road game at Arlotta Stadium.

April 16, 2018 (San Diego) - The San Diego State lacrosse team garnered two more Mountain Pacific Sports Federation accolades on Monday, as Elizabeth Rourke was named Offensive Player of the Week, while Bailey Brown was tabbed Rookie of the Week.

April 15, 2018 (Fresno) - San Diego State lacrosse’s Elizabeth Rourke, Harlowe Steele and Kirstie Greenlaw combined for 10 goals on Sunday to lift the Aztecs to a 15-11 triumph over Fresno State in a key Mountain Pacific Sports Federation game at the Bulldogs’ Soccer and Lacrosse Field.

April 13, 2018 (Los Angeles) - Despite Harlowe Steele’s fourth hat trick in the last six games, the San Diego State lacrosse team was dealt its fourth straight defeat in a 17-7 setback to No. 20 USC Friday afternoon at McAlister Field.

April 11, 2018 (La Mesa) - ECM Sports is bringing you both Santee schools this week, sports played by both genders and two different sports.  Since we last saw the Lady Highlanders of Helix on the lacrosse field, they’ve improved their record to 7-4 overall and 2-1 in league.  The Sultans of Santana paid them a visit tonight, bringing with them a record that leaves a lot to be desired:  2-9 overall and 1-4 in league.

April 8, 2018 (San Diego) - San Diego State suffered its third straight defeat Sunday after dropping a 15-9 decision to UC Davis in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation game at Aztec Lacrosse Field.

SDSU (8-6, 0-1 MPSF) rallied from an early 4-0 deficit before taking its only lead of the game at 9-8 following Jill Haight’s second goal of the game with 16:30 left in the second half.

March 30, 2018 (Emmitsburg, Md.) - The San Diego State lacrosse team completed its two-game East Coast road swing on a sour note, falling to Mount St. Mary's 13-12 in a Friday matinee at a damp and chilly Waldron Family Stadium.

March 27, 2018 (La Mesa) - Ramona readers, rejoice.  ECM Sports was finally able to cover Ramona sports for the second time ever tonight as Bulldogs girls lacrosse traveled to La Mesa to face the Highlanders of Helix.  The Bulldogs sport a decent 4-3 overall record and are 1-0 in league play. Compare that to the Highlanders, who sport a 5-1 overall (1-1 in league) record and these two are pretty evenly matched.

March 27, 2018 (Newark, Del.) - The San Diego State lacrosse team had its three-game winning streak snapped Tuesday afternoon after suffering a narrow 11-10 loss to host Delaware in a non-conference road game at Delaware Stadium.

March 18, 2018 (Spartanburg, S.C.) - The San Diego State lacrosse team wrapped up its road trip in style Sunday with a convincing 23-4 victory over Wofford in a non-conference clash at Gibbs Stadium.

March 16, 2018 (Greenville, S.C.) - The San Diego State lacrosse returned to its winning ways Friday with an 18-7 triumph over Furman in a non-conference road game at Paladin Stadium.

Junior Grace McGinty and sophomore Taylor Sullivan scored five goals apiece to lead the Aztecs, who improve to 6-3 on the season. Both totals were career highs for the SDSU midfielders.

March 12, 2018 (San Diego) - The San Diego State lacrosse team swept all three Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Player of the Week awards on Monday, as Jill Haight garnered offensive honors, Bailey Brown earned defensive recognition, while Lexi Tan was selected as top rookie.

March 10, 2018 (San Diego) - San Diego State had it three-game winning streak snapped Saturday after dropping a 19-8 decision to No. 4 Boston College on a rain-soaked afternoon at Aztec Lacrosse Field.

With the loss, SDSU fell for the first time in five home games, slipping to 5-3 overall, while the Eagles remain unbeaten on the year at 9-0.

March 7, 2018 (La Mesa) - The Grossmont-Helix rivalry may not be as strong in lacrosse as it is in other sports, but the hate was still there as the boys from both schools took the field tonight in the first conference matchup of the season.  The Highlanders are 2-1 overall and undefeated (1-0) in league, while the Foothillers remain undefeated at 1-0 in each category coming into tonight.

March 5, 2018 (San Diego) - San Diego State lacrosse midfielder Jill Haight was named Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Defensive Player of the Week Monday for her exceptional performance in the Aztecs’ 19-3 triumph at home over St. Bonaventure on March 2. With her award, the SDSU collected the first conference weekly honor of her career.

February 25, 2018 (Boulder, Colo.) - The San Diego State lacrosse team dropped its second game in a row to a ranked opponent, falling to No. 20 Colorado 17-12 on Sunday at Kittredge Field.

The Aztecs (2-2), who lost at 21st-ranked Denver on Friday by an identical count, once again found themselves in pursuit mode against the Buffaloes (2-2) after trailing 10-1 by the 9:44 mark of the first half.

February 23, 2018 (Denver) - San Diego State suffered its first loss of the season after dropping a 17-12 decision to No. 21 Denver in a Friday matinee at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium.

Despite a career-high four goals from junior Jill Haight, the Aztecs were unable to overcome a 13-3 halftime deficit, falling to 2-1 on the year, while the Pioneers remain unbeaten at 3-0.
