April 26, 2019 (San Diego) - For the first time in six seasons, the third-seeded San Diego State women’s tennis team will play in the Mountain West Championship match following a 4-2 upset over second-seeded Air Force in Friday’s semifinal. The Falcons clinched the doubles point, but the Aztecs charged back in singles action to advance.

April 26, 2019 (Fort Collins, Colo.) - The San Diego State softball team lost its series opener at No. 25 Colorado State, 9-0, in six innings Friday afternoon in Fort Collins, Colo. The Aztecs had their three-game winning streak snapped and are now 20-23 on the season and 7-9 in Mountain West play, while the Rams improved to 35-7 and 16-3.

April 25, 2019 (San Diego) - Third-seeded San Diego State pulled off a 4-2 thriller over sixth-seeded Colorado State in Thursday’s Mountain West Championship quarterfinals to move on to the semifinal round for the first time since 2014. The Aztecs clinched the doubles point in two, and held on through a Rams comeback in singles play to clinch the decision.

April 23, 2019 (San Diego) - The San Diego State baseball team used a two-run eighth inning to defeat San Diego, 4-2, at Fowler Park and Cunningham Field on Tuesday night. The Aztecs, now 8-1 all-time at Fowler Park and 15-3 in their last 18 road games against San Diego, now stand at 25-17 on the year while the Toreros drop to 25-16.

April 19, 2019 (San Diego) - The San Diego State baseball team split a doubleheader against Air Force on Friday, falling 5-2 in the afternoon before rebounding with a 6-3 win in the nightcap. SDSU now stands at 23-17 (9-7) on the year while Air Force is 17-21 (7-11).

April 18, 2019 (San Diego) - In a game resumed from a snowy postponement in Colorado Springs on March 2, the San Diego State baseball team finished its game against Air Force with a 4-3 win on Thursday night at Tony Gwynn Stadium. SDSU improves its record to 22-16 (8-6 Mountain West), while Air Force drops to 16-20 (6-10 MW).

April 18, 2019 (Azusa) - Freshman Sara Absten and sophomore Asia Smith wrapped up the heptathlon at the Bryan Clay Invitational Thursday afternoon. Smith finished in seventh place in her group with 5,157 points while Absten came in 14^th place in her grouping with 4,550 points.

April 16, 2019 (Irvine) -  San Diego State fell to No. NR/21 UC Irvine at Anteater Ballpark on Tuesday night, 6-5. The Aztecs fall to 21-16 on the year, while the Anteaters now stand at 22-9 on the season.

Back-to-back doubles by Julian Escobedo and Casey Schmitt in the top of the first opened the door for Angelo Armenta to drive in the game's first run, scoring Escobedo on a groundout to second base.
