April 7, 2019 (San Diego) - San Diego State closed off its four-match homestand in style on Sunday with a 4-0 triumph over Nevada in a Mountain West clash at Aztec Tennis Center.

With the victory, SDSU completed its third shutout in the last two weeks and fourth of the season, improving to 11-8 on the year and 2-2 in conference play, while the Wolf Pack fall to 8-8 overall and 1-3 in the MW.

April 7, 2019 (Reno) - The San Diego State softball team claimed the weekend series with Nevada in a 3-2 victory Sunday afternoon in Reno, Nev.

A day after recording 14 hits in a 10-2, five-inning win, the Aztecs (17-20, 5-7 MW) banged out 13 today in the victory. For the weekend series, SDSU hit .410 (34-for-83), while owning a .472 on-base percentage.

SDSU falls to 16-14 (5-6 Mountain West) while Nevada improves to 16-13 (6-7 MW).

SDSU took first in eight events and saw Jordyn Bryant set a SDSU freshman record in the shot put. Bryant had a throw of 49’ 9.25” (15.17m) to top Jasmine Burrell’s record of 49’ 6.25” set in 2012.

April 3, 2019 (Corvallis, Ore.) - The San Diego State baseball team fell to Oregon State 8-1 to finish the two-game series with a split.  SDSU falls to 16-13, while the Beavers improve to 20-6-1.

The Beavers scored quickly to distance themselves from the Aztecs early on, scoring four runs before the first out of the game was recorded. Despite the rough start, Daniel Ritcheson settled in afterward, retiring each of the next seven batters he faced.

March 31, 2019 (Tempe) - The No. 21 Aztec water polo team won an overtime thriller 10-9 over San Jose State Sunday afternoon in their final game of the ASU Invitational. After neither team scored in either overtime periods or the first period of sudden death, Shelby Kraft scored the game-winning goal 23 seconds into the eighth period. The Aztecs have now won five of their last six games.

March 30, 2019 (San Diego) - San Diego State dropped a 7-2 decision to UNLV Saturday night at SDSU Softball Stadium, clinching the series for the Rebels (24-7, 5-2 MW).

UNLV scored the first six runs of the game, starting with a triple by Kiley Harrison in the top of the second inning that scored Mia Trejo.
