March 10, 2019 (San Diego) - San Diego State extended its winning streak to four straight games with a 13-6 victory over Lehigh on Sunday at Aztec Lacrosse Field.

SDSU erased a 6-5 deficit early in the second half with an 8-0 blitz over the final 26:29 to raise its record to 6-1 on the year, matching the program’s best seven-game start to a season after the 2014 squad accomplished the same feat.

March 10, 2019 (San Diego) -  The San Diego State women's tennis team hosted its second match of the weekend on Sunday, dominating Pacific 4-0 to snap a three-match losing streak.

The Aztecs opened the afternoon by clinching heir second doubles point of the week. Freshmen Shakhnoza Khatamova and Agustina Rimoldi Godoy made quick work of Pacific’s Anneroos Nederstigt and Maya Lopez, going 6-2 in the match, while sophomore Nnena Nadozie and freshman Alicia Melosch topped Jacquie Tan and Dohee Lee, 6-4 in the top seed to claim the doubles point.

March 8, 2019 (San Diego) - Harlowe Steele scored the golden goal with 32 seconds elapsed in the second overtime to give San Diego State a wild 15-14 victory over Vanderbilt on Friday at Aztec Lacrosse Field.

In addition, Kirstie Greenlaw, Caitlin Jones and Morgan Taylor each netted a hat trick to help the Aztecs (5-1) win their third straight and deal the Commodores (5-1) their first loss of the year.

March 8, 2019 (San Diego) - The No. 22 SDSU water polo team (5-8, 0-1) kicked off the Aztec Invitational by splitting a pair of games Friday afternoon at the Aztec Aquaplex. In their first game, the GCC opener against Azusa Pacific, the Aztecs lost a tight one 10-9. The rebounded with a convincing 12-6 win over St. Francis. Emily Bennett scored five total goals to pace the Aztecs.

March 5, 2019 (San Diego) - San Diego State gave up eight runs over the final two innings in a 9-0, six-inning loss to Florida Gulf Coast on a rainy Tuesday night at SDSU Softball Stadium.

With a 1-0 lead after four innings, the Eagles (9-9) scored three times in the fifth inning and five in the sixth to complete the run-rule victory.

March 4, 2019 (Fresno) -  The Aztec women’s basketball team (11-17, 6-11) held off a late rally by Fresno State (18-10, 11-6) to escape with a 59-58 win Monday evening.

The Bulldogs’ Candice White hit a difficult three-pointer with 5.8 seconds left to bring Fresno State within one point. The Bulldogs then fouled Mallory Adams who missed both free throws to set up one more chance for Fresno State. After advancing the ball, they inbounded to Maddi Utti, who faked a hand-off to White and then drove baseline, stopped and elevated for an eight foot jumper that rimmed out as the buzzer went off.

March 3, 2019 (San Diego) - San Diego State ended its play in the San Diego Classic on a sour note in a 6-4 loss to Weber State Sunday afternoon at SDSU Softball Stadium.

The Aztecs (10-8), who on Friday night had seasons highs of 18 hits and 13 runs in a 13-8 win over UIC, but left a season-high 13 on base, was unable to come through with the timely hit today. SDSU left 10 runners on base, and finished 2-for-15 (.133) with runners on base and 2-for-12 (.167) with runners in scoring position.
